History of Israel
The history of the Land of Israel, which is the birthplace of the Jewish people, was first documented in the Bible and it was during the times of the Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that the Jewish national, cultural and religious identity was formed. From those times until today in the modern State of Israel, the nation shares the same language, culture and religious beliefs that have been passed along through the generations that started with Abraham.
